About Spilled

Spilled is a women’s writing community, gathered from a shared love for storytelling, late-night heart-to-hearts, and emotional expression through the written word.

It began as a series of intimate writing workshops and wine nights in Brooklyn. These are gatherings where women come together to read, write, share, and listen. What started as an event became a point of connection. And now, it's a place.

Spilled exists for women who crave depth, connection, and creative expression. For those who want to write in favor of catharsis, reflection, and release. It is the antidote to writing for the sake of perfection or productivity for those who believe in the healing magic that comes from writing and community.

This is a third place that exists between your private inner world and your public life. A place to gather and to create, to listen and to learn, where stories spill out with no pressure to perform or polish.

Spilled is now accessible both in-person and online with the addition of our digital home, The Spilled Studio. Whether you’re here to read quietly, write boldly, or simply connect, you are welcome and a valued member of our community.

I’m Kelsey! I live in Brooklyn with my beloved dog and cat. I'm a professional storyteller and the Founder of Spilled. I believe women deserve inclusive rooms to develop their writing skills and connect with likeminded individuals at accessible prices. I hope Spilled becomes one of those rooms for you.
